I saw the original Star Wars the day it opened, and just about every day thereafter for the rest of that summer.

 

George Lucas designed the wedge-shaped ISD with the game-changing opening shot in mind. It would

be interesting to know how many careers were launched by that thirty seconds of screen time. Motion pictures would never be the same.
